Terms of service
These terms govern the use of the DriversTune file service and the purchase of credits. Please read them before you register, in particular the sections on credits, the right of withdrawal and the tuning notice.
These terms are published in Croatian and English. If the two versions differ, the Croatian version prevails.
1. Parties and the service
These terms govern the relationship between IntraBIT d.o.o., Adalberta Oppitza 20, 43000 Bjelovar, Croatia, OIB 51032084657 (“we”, “us”) and every person who opens an account or buys credits on the dash.driverstune.com portal (“you”, the “customer”).
We operate the DriversTune platform and sell the credits you buy by card on the portal. Credits you buy directly from a mapper are sold by that mapper, as described in the section “Buying credits directly from a mapper”.
DriversTune is an online chiptuning file service. You upload the original read of a control unit (ECU or TCU) and choose services (e.g. Stage 1 or DTC off); a mapper, a specialist in modifying control unit software, builds a modified file that you download from the portal and flash to the vehicle yourself or through your workshop. We do not work on vehicles and do not flash files.
By registering and accepting these terms you enter into a contract with us. We store the version you accepted with your account. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy policy.
2. Account and eligibility
- The service is open to companies and sole traders (business customers) and to adults using it outside their trade or profession (consumers).
- The service is offered only to customers in Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and North Macedonia. We technically restrict access from other countries.
- The details you enter when registering and buying must be accurate and complete; update them when they change. Business customers are responsible for the accuracy of their company name, address and OIB or VAT ID, as the invoice and VAT treatment depend on them.
- Keep your password secret. If you suspect someone else has accessed your account, tell us immediately.
3. Credits, prices and VAT
Services are paid for with prepaid credits. You buy credits from us on the portal, by card via Stripe, or directly from a mapper (see the next section). The price of each credit pack and the number of credits each service costs are shown on the portal before you buy and before you submit a request. A request is charged at the credit price shown when you submit it.
The following applies to card purchases on the portal. Prices are in euros. Private individuals (consumers) see prices including VAT on the portal (Croatian VAT at 25%); that is the final price you pay.
Business customers see prices excluding VAT on the portal, and VAT is charged as follows:
- companies established in Croatia: VAT at 25%;
- companies in other EU member states with a valid VAT ID (checked in VIES): no VAT (0%) under the reverse charge; the customer accounts for VAT in their own country;
- companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia: no Croatian VAT (0%), once we have confirmed the company details.
We issue an invoice for every card purchase. For credits bought directly from a mapper, the mapper issues the invoice.
Credits never expire. They stay on your balance until you use them.
Credits are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except under the statutory consumer right of withdrawal described in the section “Consumer right of withdrawal”. If we cannot carry out a request (e.g. the read is corrupted or the vehicle is not supported), the credits spent are returned to your balance on the portal.
4. Buying credits directly from a mapper
You can also buy credits directly from a mapper by paying them outside the card checkout on the portal (e.g. by bank transfer to their account or in cash). Once paid, the mapper adds the credits to your account on the portal. For such a purchase:
- The seller is the mapper, not us. The contract for those credits is between you and the mapper, and you agree the price and payment method with them. The mapper's name, address and OIB are shown on the invoice.
- The mapper issues the invoice. Mappers are not registered for VAT, so they charge no VAT (Art. 90(2) of the Croatian VAT Act); the agreed price is final. You get the invoice on the portal and a notice about it by email.
- Complaints and refund requests about that purchase (payment, invoice, refunds) are handled by the mapper. If you send them to us, we forward them to the mapper without delay and let you know.
- The consumer right of withdrawal, where the law grants it, is exercised against the mapper: you send your withdrawal statement to the mapper, and the mapper refunds the price you paid.
- We are the platform operator: we run the portal and keep your credit balance, but we are not a party to the purchase contract, do not receive the payment and are not liable for the mapper's obligations as seller.
- Credits bought from a mapper are used on the portal like any other credits, under these terms.
Card purchases on the portal remain purchases from us: we are the seller, issue the invoice with VAT as described in the previous section and handle complaints and withdrawal.
So that the mapper can invoice you, we pass your invoicing data to them, as described in the Privacy policy.
5. Consumer right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from a card purchase of credits on the portal within 14 days of the purchase without giving any reason. For credits bought directly from a mapper, you exercise the right of withdrawal against the mapper (see “Buying credits directly from a mapper”).
The service starts immediately: you can use credits as soon as you buy them. When you buy, we therefore ask for your express consent to performance starting before the withdrawal period ends, and your acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal for credits you use. This means:
- for credits you have not yet used within the 14 days, we refund the proportionate part of the price you paid;
- for credits you have already used by submitting requests, the right of withdrawal no longer applies and they are not refundable.
To withdraw, send us a clear statement by email to sales@intra-bit.com or by post to Adalberta Oppitza 20, 43000 Bjelovar, Croatia. You may use the model form below, but you do not have to. The deadline is met if you send your statement before the 14 days are up.
We pay the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your statement, using the same payment method you used, at no extra cost to you.
Business customers (companies and sole traders) have no right of withdrawal; for them credits are non-refundable.

6. File delivery and revisions
- You submit a request on the portal: upload the original, unmodified read, enter the vehicle and tool details and choose your services. Submitting a request uses the credits for the chosen services.
- Turnaround times are indicative. Standard requests are handled during working hours, usually the same or the next working day, but we do not guarantee a specific deadline.
- When the file is ready we notify you by email, and by WhatsApp if you have turned it on. You download the file from the portal through a link that is valid for 7 days, so download and save it in time.
- Before flashing, keep the original read as a backup and check that the file matches the vehicle and control unit.
- If the file does not match what you ordered (e.g. a chosen service was not applied or the vehicle does not run correctly with the file), contact us through a comment on the request or by email and describe the problem, ideally with fault codes or logs. We fix such defects at no extra credit cost.
- Changes you did not order in the original request are charged as a new request.
7. Your obligations
By submitting a request you confirm and warrant:
- that you are entitled to the vehicle and the read you send (you are the owner or have the owner's authorisation);
- that the details you enter are accurate and the read belongs to the stated vehicle;
- that you will not use the service or files unlawfully, to conceal defects, to tamper with the odometer or in a way that endangers other road users;
- that you will not try to bypass the portal's protections or the country restriction, or access other people's data.
8. Important tuning notice
Modified files are intended exclusively for off-road and motorsport use. Modifying control unit software may affect:
- the vehicle's type approval, compliance with technical regulations and roadworthiness inspections;
- exhaust emissions;
- vehicle insurance and cover;
- manufacturer and dealer warranties;
- the durability of the engine, gearbox and other components.
You alone are responsible for whether the vehicle may legally be used on public roads, for type approval, emissions, insurance, warranty and the vehicle itself, and for flashing the file competently. Services such as disabling fault codes, removing the speed limiter or pops & bangs may not be permitted for vehicles used on public roads.
9. Limitation of liability
We build files professionally and with due care. We are not liable for damage caused by a corrupted or incorrect read, wrong vehicle data, incorrect flashing, vehicle faults not caused by our file, or use of the vehicle contrary to the previous section.
Our total liability to you on any legal basis is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before you make the claim.
This limit does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, to injury to life, body or health, or wherever the law does not allow liability to be limited. Nothing in these terms limits the rights consumers have under mandatory law, including rights for non-conformity of digital content or services.
10. Files and intellectual property
- Whatever rights you hold in the original read remain yours. By uploading a read you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, inspect and process it as needed to build, deliver and revise the file, and to retain it as described in the Privacy policy.
- The modified file is built by our mapper. Once delivered, you have a perpetual right to use it for the vehicle it was built for.
- The DriversTune name, the portal design and the software remain our property.
- We do not sell your files or give them to third parties, except as described in the Privacy policy.
11. Suspension and termination
- You can close your account at any time by writing to sales@intra-bit.com. We then anonymise the account as described in the Privacy policy.
- We may temporarily restrict or block access to an account if we reasonably suspect a breach of these terms, abuse, fraud or unauthorised access, or where the law or an authority requires it. We will tell you and give the reason, unless the law prevents us.
- We may terminate the contract for a serious or repeated breach of these terms.
- If we stop providing the service or terminate the contract through no fault of yours, we refund the proportionate part of the price paid to us for unused credits. For unused credits bought directly from a mapper, you claim the refund from the mapper.
12. Notifications and communication
- We send notices about requests, invoices and changes to these terms to your account's email address and show them on the portal.
- We send WhatsApp request status notifications only if you have turned them on; you can turn them off in your profile settings at any time.
- You can reach us at sales@intra-bit.com.
13. Complaints
You can make a complaint in writing: by email to sales@intra-bit.com or by post to IntraBIT d.o.o., Adalberta Oppitza 20, 43000 Bjelovar, Croatia. Please include your account email, the request or invoice number and a description of the problem.
We acknowledge receipt without delay and send a written reply within 15 days of receiving the complaint.
Complaints about credits bought directly from a mapper (payment, invoice, refunds) are handled by the mapper as the seller. If you send such a complaint to us, we forward it to the mapper without delay and let you know.
Consumers may also turn to a body for alternative resolution of consumer disputes; the list is published by the Croatian ministry responsible for consumer protection.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
- These terms and the contract are governed by Croatian law.
- Disputes with business customers fall under the jurisdiction of the competent court in Bjelovar, Croatia.
- If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you habitually reside, and you may sue and be sued before the court that has jurisdiction under consumer protection rules, as a rule the court where you live.
15. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, for example for new services or changes in the law. We notify you of material changes by email or on the portal before they take effect. Requests submitted before a change are governed by the terms in force when they were submitted. If you do not agree with the changes, you may stop using the service and close your account.
